Advance your career with an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector hiring a Business Development Manager for Midwest work of 5,000+ tons. Permanent full-time opportunity with $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and Midwest travel.

Your focus

• Expand the steel erection pipeline with general contractors and facility owners in the Midwest
• Guide pursuit tactics on high-tonnage structural packages of 5,000+ tons
• Maintain competitive intelligence on pricing windows and project schedules
• Stand for an AISC-certified Michigan erector at meetings, site walks, and trade events
• Complete Midwest travel as needed to win work and deepen partnerships

Ideal background

• Experience selling or developing business in steel erection, structural steel, or related construction
• Success mindset for large-tonnage Midwest pursuits
• Preferred connections with general contractors, fabricators, or owners
• Openness to regular Midwest travel
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven pipeline-to-close habit
