About the Role

A well-established high-end residential builder is seeking a Customer Service / Building Permit Specialist to support our luxury homebuilding operations. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and dependable, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

You will act as a key liaison between clients, municipalities, and internal teams—helping to streamline the permitting process while ensuring a smooth and professional experience for everyone involved.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer service questions and requests

  • Prepare, submit, and track building permit applications

  • Coordinate with city/county officials, clients, and internal staff

  • Manage documentation, records, and permit-related files

  • Provide administrative support to construction and project teams

  • Follow up on all permit requirements, deadlines, and outstanding items

What We're Looking For

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and proactive

  • Comfortable with computers and learning new software

  • Experience with a homebuilder is preferred (not required)

  • Professional, reliable, and honest

  • Demonstrated long-term employment stability — we cannot consider candidates with frequent job changes (every 1–3 years)
