GPAC is partnering with a great K-8 school focused on "equity and excellence" in the North Minneapolis to identify their next Special Education Teacher. 

This school is seeking a candidate for this full time, on-site position who is

Position Summary 

The Special Education Teacher will provide a learning experience that is culturally relevant, challenging and fun. Candidates should be driven to prepare children for the future by helping them build confidence and a strong sense of self-worth. This is a resource teacher / case manager position will have a caseload of between 10 and 12 middle school students with mild disabilities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

• LICENSURE:
• Current Minnesota teaching license in content area / grade levels (preferred)

• Experience teaching in an urban public school or charter school setting
• At least two years of experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom
• Commitment to professional growth and personal development
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with high expectations
