Position Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Defense Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys in insurance defense litigation, including managing case files, conducting legal research, and preparing legal documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with claim investigation, discovery, and court filings
- Prepare and organize legal documents, reports, and correspondence
- Manage case calendars and deadlines
- Conduct legal research and document review
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and insurance carriers
- Assist in trial preparation and coordination
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certificate or relevant legal training preferred
- 3+ years of paralegal experience in insurance defense or civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures and court rules
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and case management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
