Hospice Director, RN in Minnesota

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and monitor hospice staff work to ensure efficient, effective care delivery.
• Hire, supervise, evaluate, motivate, and develop RNs, paraprofessionals, and support staff; optimize scheduling for peak productivity.
• Develop recruitment strategies, lead new hire orientation, and foster onboarding success.
• Chair Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings and engage in facility/team discussions to drive coordinated care.
• Promote business growth through client education, presentations, and staff coaching for referrals and partnerships.
• Manage hospice caseloads as needed and deliver in-services on quality standards, policies, QAPI updates, and regulations.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active, unrestricted RN license in Minnesota.
• Preferred: 2+ years hospice RN experience and 1+ year supervisory leadership.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and CPR certification.
• Comfortable traveling locally to serve patients in homes and facilities.
