Talent Acquisition / HR – Residential Construction

About the Role

We’re looking for someone who can do more than wait for applications — we need a proactive recruiter who knows how to identify, engage, and attract the right people. This position can be part-time or full-time, depending on experience and fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting efforts for field and office roles within residential construction

  • Conduct proactive sourcing, cold calling, and headhunting to build strong pipelines

  • Utilize recruiting tools, networks, and industry connections to identify targeted talent

  • Coordinate interviews, manage communication, and support the full hiring process

  • (If applicable) Assist with core HR functions such as onboarding, new hire paperwork, and general HR coordination

  • Maintain candidate records and support compliance with HR policies and procedures

  • Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs and workforce planning

What We’re Looking For

  • Residential construction recruiting experience

  • Proven ability to source proactively — not just post jobs and wait

  • Comfortable with cold calling, headhunting, and building relationships from scratch

  • Excellent communication and professionalism with both internal teams and candidates

  • Bonus: Experience with onboarding, HR documentation, and general HR support

Someone who brings both recruiting expertise and HR coordination experience, able to manage hiring while supporting onboarding and day-to-day HR tasks.
