Attorney – Commercial Litigation
Location: Richmond, VA
A respected client in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a repeat client of ours, in a supportive and dynamic environment that values high-quality advocacy and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft, review, and argue pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as needed
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation strategies
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff where applicable
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active admission to the Virginia Bar
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial litigation
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Prior experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Excellent advocacy and client-relations skills
• Ability to manage cases independently and as part of a collaborative team
