Audit Manager – Public Accounting

A highly respected public accounting firm is seeking an Audit Manager to join their team. Audit Manager Essential Functions:

  • Lead, supervise, and review multiple audit engagements simultaneously
  • Manage and mentor audit staff, supporting professional development
  • Review and assess completion of audits for accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate with clients to address audit findings and ensure quality service
  • Actively contribute to process improvement and training within the audit department

Audit Manager Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Experience with County/Government audits and For-Profit audits preferred
  • Strong background in external audits and reviewing Compilations
  • CPA license preferred (candidates with 1–2 CPA exams completed will also be considered)
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage staff and build client relationships
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
