We are seeking an independent, reliable, and professional PA to join our busy plastic and reconstructive surgery practice. You’ll work closely with board-certified surgeons in both clinical and surgical settings, and receive training in the latest cosmetic procedures, including injectables and laser treatments. Plastic Surgery Experience required.
Key Responsibilities
- First assist in the OR during surgical procedures (New York and New Jersey)
- Perform in-office scar revisions and minor procedures
- Independently manage post-operative patients
- Conduct consultations, take patient medical histories, and perform clinical photography
- Assist with reviewing medical clearance and pathology reports
- Complete disability paperwork and patient documentation
- Utilize electronic EMR system for all patient records
- On-Call requirement approximately one week a month
- Perform and assist with aesthetic procedures (e.g., Botox, fillers, PRP, lasers)
Qualifications
- Active New York PA license (required)
- Experience in plastic surgery (required)
- Comfortable assisting in surgery and seeing patients independently
- Familiarity with injectables and cosmetic treatments a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- EMR experience preferred
