Job Title: General Liability Associate Attorney

Job Description:
GPAC has partnered with a well-established law firm that is actively seeking a motivated General Liability Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This is a prime opportunity for an attorney with a background in insurance defense, general liability, or commercial litigation who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You’ll work on a range of complex and high-exposure cases involving personal injury, property damage, and premises liability.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a caseload of general liability matters from inception through resolution.
Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including depositions, hearings, and pre-trial proceedings.
Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions.
Prepare case strategies and assess risk management and liability exposure.
Negotiate settlements and participate in trial preparation and support.
Collaborate closely with partners, senior attorneys, and support staff to ensure high-quality representation.
Stay up to date on case law and legal developments relevant to general liability and insurance defense.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice in California (mandatory).
2+ years of experience in insurance defense, general liability, or commercial litigation.
Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
Proven experience with depositions and court appearances is a plus.
Excellent time management, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a litigation team.
