Job Description

 A well-established law firm is and hiring a  Residential Real Estate Associate Attorney to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone looking for new challenges, a change in their career, or to grow professionally.

The ideal candidate will have one to two years' experience.  This role will support the managing attorney with residential real estate closings, conducting title review and clearance.

  • Primary Role
    •Conduct residential closings with warmth, efficiency, competence and confidence
    •Perform title review and clearance
    •Serve as support to office managing attorney
    •Serve as resource and support for staff, agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers
    •Assist with closings in other offices as necessary
    •Serve as firm ambassador
    •Attend events with real estate agents and other industry partners

  • Culture & Client Service
    •Promote a culture of service and positivity, both internally and externally
    •Promote a “yes” culture and a spirit of collaboration
    •Encourage firm-wide cooperation underscoring the success of the firm, not the individual office
    •Create memorable interactions and positive lasting impressions
    •Be hyper-responsive to clients and team – return all calls and emails same day and resolve client inquiries and concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner
    •Build rapport and serve as a trusted advisor to real estate agent clients
    •Create opportunities to nurture relationships with clients

  • Legal Aptitude
    •Exhibit high level of professionalism in all aspects including, but not limited to communication, demeanor, and appearance
    •Follow ethical requirements as set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct of the state and comply with all requirements of the firm’s professional liability insurer
    •Maintain membership in the state bar and complete all required Continuing Legal Education requirements
    •Adhere to all relevant laws and guidelines
    •Formulate and issue well-founded legal opinions
    •Effectively conduct negotiations to resolve matters on behalf of clients
    •Observe confidentiality of client matters
    •Use good etiquette, judgement and discretion when dealing with sensitive issues
