Commercial Litigation | Defense Attorney

San Antonio TX

A well-established Insurance Defense firm is seeking to expand their Commercial Litigation Team in their San Antonio location, looking to bring on a 5+ years' Associate Attorney/Senior Attorney with courtroom experience; interested in building their litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle a variety of defense work, in a daily in-office role with flexibility. This large boutique firm has full staff support, providing training and mentoring in complex commercial disputes, ranging from contract disputes to shareholder conflicts, employment disputes, personal injury, construction, and professional liability matters. Areas of practice include: Commercial and Business Litigation, General Liability Defense, Personal Injury/Transportation, Construction, Employment, First Party/Coverage

 

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication; drafting motions, pleadings, briefings

  • Prepare and argue motions and opposition to motions, attend depositions

  • Courtroom experience required

  • No book needed but must know how to bill

Compensation structure is an annual base salary range $140K-$180K, DOE. (Partner comp from $250K) Additional details on benefits, 401K and unlimited PTO available. First interview via zoom; second in-person. --Actively interviewing now --
