Insurance Defense | General Civil Litigation
A highly regarded Boca Raton law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys hands-on litigation work, direct client engagement, and the ability to manage meaningful cases with autonomy. Insurance defense experience is a strong plus, but not required.
Key Practice Areas:
• Insurance Defense
• General Civil Litigation
• Premises Liability, Property Damage & Tort Matters
• Commercial Litigation Support
• Coverage Analysis (Preferred but not required)
Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and proceedings as appropriate
• Manage multiple litigation files simultaneously with minimal supervision
• Perform detailed legal research and deliver high-quality written work product
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
• Contribute to case strategy and support senior attorneys as needed
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of litigation experience (insurance defense strongly preferred)
• Active Florida Bar membership required
• Strong analytical, research, and writing abilities
• Ability to independently manage deadlines and multiple matters
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in case management
• Professional, collaborative, and client-focused
