Position: Litigation Associate Attorney – Personal Injury
Experience: 3-8 Years

Full-Time | Onsite or Hybrid (Depending on Firm Policy)

Overview:
A well-established personal injury law firm in Washington State is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3–8 years of experience to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigationfirst or second-chair trial experience, and a proven ability to manage cases from intake through resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a full caseload of personal injury matters (auto accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, etc.)

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents

  • Conduct and defend depositions

  • Negotiate settlements and attend mediations

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials

  • Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and support staff

  • Maintain excellent communication with clients throughout the litigation process

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Active member of the Washington State Bar (WSBA)

  • 3–8 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on personal injury

  • Trial experience required (first or second-chair preferred)

  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Detail-oriented with a client-first approach
