Custom Applicator
An established agricultural retailer in north-central Indiana is hiring a Custom Applicator to apply crop nutrients and crop protection products for local growers. This is a full-time role with steady seasonal work and room to grow.
What you'll do
- Run self-propelled sprayers and floaters to apply fertilizer and crop protection products accurately and safely
- Read field maps and work orders, and use GPS and precision ag guidance systems
- Mix and load products following label and safety requirements
- Keep application records accurate and complete
- Do routine maintenance and daily checks on application equipment
- Help with deliveries, loading and other location work during the off-season
What you bring
- Experience operating application or farm equipment
- A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements, preferred
- An Indiana Commercial Pesticide Applicator license, or the ability to get one
- A strong focus on safety and attention to detail
- Willingness to work extended hours in spring and fall
