Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing, overseeing, and managing assigned major contract programs. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for major programs, achieving total customer satisfaction, profitable growth, and preferred supplier recognition through exceptional delivery and long-term business relationships supporting naval weapons platforms through precision electronics assembly, complex wiring solutions, full system integration, and lifecycle sustainment services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, direct, and monitor projects and programs from quote phase to purchase order processing and delivery
  • Manage and facilitate all phases of a program from inception to completion, including schedules and budgets
  • Organize inter-departmental, customer, and vendor activities with full communication
  • Monitor performance against customer requirements and serve as technical consultant to support quotes
  • Provide timely technical activities to eliminate roadblocks and maintain production schedules
  • Implement and execute all AS 9100C procedures to resolve process inefficiencies, quality issues, and vendor/customer concerns
  • Conduct customer on-site quarterly business reviews to discuss key metrics such as quality, delivery, responsiveness, and inventory
  • Develop and implement manufacturing plans to achieve deliver
  • Coordinate procurement and incoming material inspections
  • Consult with quality team to develop sustainable production quality
  • Evaluate DPMO results, produce yields, and drive continuous improvement through trend data, first piece, MRB, and PIDs
  • Provide DFX leadership and identify DFM issues for customer communication
  • Work with materials department to optimize inventory, costs, and develop material agreements
  • Forecast customer delivery requirements and prepare monthly reports on key business metrics
  • Identify risks to schedule, cost, and quality using RAM format
  • Verify test equipment, tooling, and BOM with latest PO revisions
  • Introduce quality and productivity enhancements with written recommendations to senior management
  • Develop all new quotes including labor and material
  • Hold weekly (minimum) updates with customers on order status
  • Direct integration of program management team across purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, customer service, and administrative areas


Qualifications:

  • BSEE, BSME, MBA, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with shop drawings, plans, schedules, prints, and specifications
  • Exceptional PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with business information systems
