A well-established and respected boutique firm in Langley is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join its collaborative, down-to-earth legal team. This is an urgent and high-priority hire for a firm that values precision, initiative, and a team-focused approach to law.

πŸ”Ή About the Firm

Rooted in Langley and dedicated to serving its community, this firm was founded on shared values of excellence, collaboration, and client-centred service. The lawyers take pride in offering high-quality legal solutions without pretense, supporting clients through complex matters with care, attentiveness, and skill.

With a strong foundation in teamwork and a holistic approach to problem-solving, the firm continues to grow and deliver exceptional results to its loyal and expanding client base. The team believes in giving back to the community and fostering long-term relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

πŸ”Ή The Role: Corporate Paralegal (Transactional Focus)

This position requires a senior-level corporate paralegal who can step into a busy practice and hit the ground running. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 5 years of experience handling complex corporate transactions, particularly:

  • Asset and Share Transactions

  • Corporate and Tax Reorganizations

  • Closings and Transactional Due Diligence

You will not be expected to manage incorporations or routine records maintenance — those are handled by a dedicated team. Instead, this role will support lawyers on high-level transaction files and will be an integral part of the deal process.

πŸ”Ή Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of corporate paralegal experience, with a focus on transactions

  • Paralegal certification preferred, but not required if experience is extensive

  • Proven experience with transactional documentation, closing books, and tax-driven corporate structuring

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

  • Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Professional, reliable, and solutions-driven

πŸ”Ή Why Join This Firm?

  • Strong reputation with deep roots in the Langley community

  • Supportive, team-oriented culture that values integrity and quality work

  • No micromanagement – trust is foundational

  • Opportunity to work on meaningful, complex files without the downtown grind

  • Hybrid flexibility may be available for the right candidate
