Civil Litigation Attorney (5+ Years) – Agoura Hills, CA

Our client is a well-established Southern California law firm with an active litigation practice. It's looking for an experienced civil litigator to join its team in Agoura Hills. You'd manage your own caseload with strong support and a firm culture that values work-life balance.

What you'll do

• Independently manage an active civil litigation caseload from intake through trial preparation.
• Handle discovery, depositions, and law and motion work.
• Work as an active, in-office member of the firm's litigation team.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of substantive civil litigation experience.
• A proven ability to run cases independently.
• HOA experience is preferred but not required. Litigators from real estate, business litigation, construction defect, and insurance defense are encouraged to apply, and the firm provides HOA training.
• A local candidate who can work primarily in the Agoura Hills office.

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary of $150,000 to $185,000, depending on experience.
• A $5,000 signing bonus, paid after 90 days.
• A billable requirement of 155 hours a month, with quarterly production bonuses for hours above expectations.
• A dedicated paralegal and legal assistant.
• Generous vacation, plus medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Work arrangement

• The role is full-time in the Agoura Hills office.
• For candidates with longer commutes, the firm will consider a hybrid schedule with 1 to 2 remote days a week.
