About the Role

We’re seeking a Project Manager or high-performing Assistant Project Manager who is ready to take the next step into a PM role. This position supports aviation-related projects at DFW Airport, working closely with senior leadership, field teams, and airport stakeholders to deliver complex projects safely, on time, and within budget.

This is an excellent opportunity for an APM with solid aviation exposure who wants increased ownership, responsibility, and long-term growth into a full PM role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support or lead day-to-day project execution for aviation and airport infrastructure projects

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and airport authorities

  • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation

  • Participate in progress meetings and stakeholder communications

  • Ensure compliance with DFW Airport safety, security, and operational requirements

  • Support project closeout, turnover, and documentation processes

Qualifications

  • 2–6+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager

  • Recent hands-on experience working on projects at DFW Airport (required)

  • Strong understanding of construction/project workflows in aviation environments

  • Ability to work within active airport operations and follow strict safety protocols

  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

 

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with airside or landside projects

  • Familiarity with airport authority processes and permitting
