Job Description

Our client, a bridge contractor that self-performs its work, is hiring a Bridge Project Manager in West Virginia. This role is a fit for someone with hands-on self-perform bridge construction experience, including structural concrete, bridge decks, superstructures, and substructures, who wants to lead projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge projects from preconstruction and award through closeout
• Oversee self-performed structural concrete, deck, superstructure, and substructure work
• Build and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
• Work closely with superintendents and field crews to plan the work
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and material procurement
• Communicate with owners, agencies, engineers, and inspectors
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
• Keep projects safe, on schedule, and within budget

Qualifications

• Bridge or heavy civil project management experience
• Self-perform background in structural concrete, bridge decks, superstructures, and substructures
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Experience with budgets, schedules, and change management
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfortable with project management software and Microsoft Office
