Assistant Superintendent – Commercial Construction

Assistant Superintendent – Role Overview:
The Assistant Superintendent will support on-site operations from groundbreaking to closeout. This role is responsible for assisting in project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, safety management, and maintaining quality standards to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Superintendent in managing all daily field operations for commercial construction projects.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment to keep schedules and budgets on track.

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards on every job site.

  • Monitor quality control, address field issues, and maintain communication with project managers.

  • Serve as a hands-on leader, helping drive productivity and problem-solving on site.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or field engineer in commercial construction.

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety procedures.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • OSHA certification preferred.
