Assistant Superintendent – Role Overview:
The Assistant Superintendent will support on-site operations from groundbreaking to closeout. This role is responsible for assisting in project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, safety management, and maintaining quality standards to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Superintendent in managing all daily field operations for commercial construction projects.
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment to keep schedules and budgets on track.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards on every job site.
Monitor quality control, address field issues, and maintain communication with project managers.
Serve as a hands-on leader, helping drive productivity and problem-solving on site.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or field engineer in commercial construction.
Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety procedures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
OSHA certification preferred.
