Residential Architectural CAD Drafter

A well-established and innovative home builder is seeking a skilled Residential Architectural CAD Drafter to join their growing team! If you’re passionate about turning design concepts into reality and thrive in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect fit.

Position Overview: As a CAD Drafter, you’ll help translate architectural ideas into accurate, code-compliant construction drawings. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure every detail supports both design intent and practical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed architectural drawings and plans using CAD software

  • Interpret design specs, building codes, and technical documents

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve design issues

  • Revise and update plans based on feedback and project changes

  • Ensure all drawings are accurate, complete, and meet industry standards

  • Stay updated on drafting tools, technologies, and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certification in Architectural Drafting, CAD Technology, or related field

  • Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)

  • Solid understanding of residential construction and building codes

  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
