Seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join my client's team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a background supporting attorneys in high-stakes, complex cases involving medical malpractice, catastrophic injuries, and trucking accidents.
Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, trial preparation, and trial.
Draft, review, and organize pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and medical record summaries.
Manage large volumes of documents and evidence, including e-discovery platforms.
Coordinate with experts, clients, and witnesses in preparation for depositions, mediations, and trial.
Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and case files with strong attention to detail.
Support attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit lists, witness preparation, and trial binders.
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal with a focus on medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, or trucking/transportation cases.
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules.
Experience handling large, complex cases with extensive documentation and multiple parties.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with litigation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
