Position Overview:
The Feed Mill Operator will be responsible for managing day-to-day feed production, ensuring batches are mixed accurately, equipment runs efficiently, and safety and quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and has previous experience in feed mixing or mill operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily feed mill operations and production flow
Mix and batch feed according to established formulas and quality specifications
Monitor and maintain mill equipment to ensure smooth operation
Track production and inventory accurately
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
Coordinate with internal teams to meet production goals and customer needs
Qualifications:
Previous feed mill mixing experience is required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Compensation & Benefits:
$20–$30/hour (depending on experience)
