One of the top mechanical company is looking to add a HVAC Operations Manager to their team!
Tasks & Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Studies, interprets and conveys plan specifications and drawings
- Oversee and direct construction projects to completion
- Creates, executes and manages work plans and scope and revises as appropriate
- Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and update estimate costs
- Coordinate and direct all construction workers and subcontractors.
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance
- Reviews and inspects work progress to provide daily reports and relay all communications timely
- Provide two (2) week look a heads for distribution as needed
- Create and prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Negotiate terms of agreements/sub agreements and understand contracts
- Obtains permits and licenses
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and techniques
- Ensures all project documentation is complete and current
- Effectively applies company methodologies and enforces project standards
- Prepares preliminary project schedule, material lists, and budgets resources
- Ensures all project financial goals and works towards maintaining profitability
- Conducts inspections and coordinates same
- Identifies potential change orders (RFC) and prepares drafts
- Follows up on change orders
- Attends project, pre-bid, and project kickoff meetings for coordination
- Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors
o Coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays
o Resolve complaints and grievances within job work force
o To resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
- Manage multiple projects in various phases of construction
- Provides feedback regarding continuous process improvements to meet and exceed standards
- Assists in development on initial team needs/requirements at start of jobs
- Confirm everything needed is onsite prior to mobilization
- Orders and arranges for additional manpower
- Backfills as appropriate for HVAC hands on duties, including occasional service calls
- Provides Project support to the office as requested
Licenses/ Certifications:
Must have:
1. NJ HVAC License
2. 10 Hour OSHA minimum, 30 hour preferred
3. EPA Certification
4. Valid driver license with good driving record
5. Other Equipment operation licenses as required
