Preconstruction Manager

The Preconstruction Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the planning and development of new and ongoing projects. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and deep expertise in commercial construction. You will collaborate closely with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall planning and development of new projects and manage activities for current projects.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules.
  • Provide guidance to clients and project teams on base building and internal project management.
  • Evaluate and monitor design development progress, budgets, and schedules.
  • Prepare conceptual estimates using market data and industry benchmarks.
  • Calculate material quantities during early design stages.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work for all project-related trades.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.S. in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in project management and estimating within commercial construction.
  • Proven leadership experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in managing and developing commercial construction projects.
