Job Title: Senior Estimator – Structural Steel Erection

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team, specializing in structural steel erection projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial steel construction estimating and be skilled in producing accurate take-offs, cost analysis, and bid proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed estimates for structural steel erection projects from conceptual through final bid.

  • Perform quantity take-offs, review drawings, and analyze specifications.

  • Utilize Tekla and Bluebeam software for accurate estimating and digital plan management.

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure estimates align with project requirements.

  • Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.

  • Maintain current knowledge of market pricing, industry trends, and construction practices.

  • Assist with bid strategy, proposals, and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience estimating structural steel erection or related commercial steel construction projects.

  • Proficiency in Tekla and Bluebeam software (required).

  • Strong understanding of structural steel construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
