My client is a premier trial law firm based in Orange County seeking a seasoned and skilled Senior Associate to join their litigation team. Each attorney at this firm is a highly experienced litigator with specialized expertise in complex business litigation, catastrophic personal injury, insurance litigation, employment law, professional liability, real estate litigation, and transactional/corporate law. With almost 200 years of combined litigation experience, they represent a diverse clientele, from Fortune 500 companies to individuals, with a relentless focus on winning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents

  • Assist in case preparation for trials, mediations, and arbitrations

  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and client meetings

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies

  • Review and analyze complex legal documents and contracts

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Active membership in the California State Bar

  • 5-15 years of commercial/business litigation experience 

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
