Seeking Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney Partner

Our rapidly growing client's law firm is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join their team as a Partner in their Philadelphia office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in expanding their workers' compensation practice.

They represent employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in all aspects of workers' compensation matters. The firm is known for providing exceptional client service and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a substantial caseload of workers' compensation defense matters
- Develop and implement case strategies to achieve optimal results for clients
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials before the Workers' Compensation Office of Adjudication
- Conduct depositions of medical experts and fact witnesses
- Negotiate settlements and prepare settlement documents
- Mentor and supervise associate attorneys and support staff
- Contribute to business development efforts and client relationship management
- Collaborate with other practice areas to provide comprehensive legal services
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Virginia State Bar
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in workers' compensation defense
- Proven track record of success in workers' compensation litigation
- Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent interpersonal and client relations abilities
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and maintain client relationships
- Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior attorneys
