Seeking a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Maryland
This amazing opportunity is perfect for a well-rounded director comfortable in all facets of funeral service, and someone who is a self-starter.
Position responsibilities:
- Handle approximately 300 calls per year
- Coordinate 300-500 cremations and trade cremations annually
- Work with a skilled, professional team
- Emphasize work-life balance with no off-hour removals
- Take on-call with a stipend and overtime pay at time and a half
Position essential job functions:
- Conduct funeral arrangements
- Coordinate embalming and preparation of bodies
- Provide grief support to families
- Oversee funeral services
Position skills:
- Must be licensed as a Funeral Director and Embalmer in Maryland
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented
- Compassionate and empathetic towards families
