Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join a heavy equipment service team. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow their career in the equipment maintenance field. The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic preventive maintenance services on construction machinery to keep the equipment running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil and fluid changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and equipment inspections
Check and top off all fluid levels (engine oil, transmission, coolant, etc.)
Perform basic diagnostics and communicate potential issues to senior technicians
Maintain accurate service records and inspection checklists
Operate service truck or shop equipment safely and responsibly
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar maintenance role preferred
Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment is a plus
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
