About the Role:

A well-established law firm with offices across California is seeking an experienced General Liability Associate Attorney to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle a variety of civil defense matters while enjoying a supportive, collaborative environment with strong professional growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of general liability and civil litigation matters, including personal injury, premises liability, and product liability.
• Conduct and defend depositions, attend court hearings, and prepare cases for trial.
• Draft and respond to motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys to ensure strategic case development.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of general liability litigation experience, ideally on the defense side.
• Strong litigation and case management skills, including deposition and motion practice.
• California Bar admission required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while meeting deadlines.
