Traveling Superintendent Federal
Company Overview:
A highly-recognized general contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their federal construction division. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, large-scale federal projects across the United States while building a long-term career with a stable, growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all on-site construction activities for federal projects
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to deliver projects safely, on time, and on budget
Ensure compliance with all federal regulations, contract requirements, and quality control standards
Collaborate with project managers, owners, and government stakeholders to ensure clear communication and progress
Proactively monitor schedules, resolve issues, and drive successful project completion
Requirements:
3+ years federal project experience
Strong knowledge of federal specifications, safety protocols, and quality control requirements
Proven ability to lead field teams and manage subcontractor performance
Willingness to travel with the ability to go home once a month
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
