Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have a solid background in plaintiff personal injury law and a proven track record of handling cases from intake to resolution, including negotiations and trial experience. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, working closely with clients, and driving cases towards successful settlements or verdicts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and litigate a caseload of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death.

  • Conduct legal research, review medical records, police reports, and other relevant documentation.

  • Draft legal pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation-related documents.

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and clients.

  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them updated on case progress.

  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure effective case management and resolution.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the California State Bar.

  • 3-5 years of experience practicing plaintiff personal injury law.

  • Experience in managing personal injury cases from start to finish, including trial work.

  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle a high-volume caseload.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
