Experienced Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant Wanted

Our established legal firm is seeking a highly organized and dedicated plaintiff litigation paralegal/legal assistant to join our busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to play a critical role in supporting our robust litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal paralegal/legal assistant candidate will possess the skills to handle a diverse set of responsibilities, including:

  • Conducting detailed client intake interviews.

  • Reviewing and summarizing complex medical records and other critical documents related to pending litigation.

  • Assisting with discovery, including drafting interrogatories, requests for production, and other legal documents.

  • Serve as the primary organizational force for a VERY busy lawyer, ensuring all deadlines are met and that the lawyer is kept on track. 

  • Contributing to a positive and cooperative work environment; the ability to work as a team is critical. Further to this point, all of our paralegals/legal assistants also take turns relieving the receptionist and runner on occasion.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a paralegal or Legal Assistant, with plaintiff and litigation experience. (court room experience not required)

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
