About the Opportunity:
A respected law firm in Arkansas is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least 2 years of experience, preferably in commercial litigation, who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility and grow within a collaborative environment. The firm is also open to candidates with strong litigation experience from other practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft and respond to written discovery
• Prepare and argue motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Assist with case strategy, trial preparation, and client communication
• Collaborate with partners and support staff to drive case progress

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Arkansas
• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred (commercial litigation a plus, but not required)
• Strong experience with:
• Answering and propounding discovery
• Drafting motions
• Taking depositions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
